Ain’t Got No Haters Recipe

2 oz. G4 Tequila Blanco

1/2 oz. John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum

1/2 oz. Manzanilla Sherry

2 dash Fee Brothers Grapefruit Bitters

Orange Oils


Starting with our base I used G4 Blanco tequila because of its crisp, yet smooth grassy blue agave flavor profile. Next, I added a Manzanilla sherry giving this cocktail its subtle nutty and “barrel” flavor. I then followed up with a velvet falernum to give this cocktail a faint hint of clove and even more nuttiness. Next, I added two dashes of grapefruit bitters to balance out the sweetness with a specific type of dryness. Lastly, I expressed an orange peel off the top for the citrus aroma that you get right before you sip this cocktail.
